Dog Breeds

Every breed page here tells you the same three things in plain English: what the breed is actually like to live with, the health stuff nobody mentions before you buy, and what to have ready before one comes home. Pick your breed, read the honest version, and the real-bills stories will show you why we push pet insurance while the dog is young and healthy.

The breed library

Each breed gets its own full page, and this list grows every time we post a new one. Listed alphabetically:

  • Doberman Pinscher: the loyal guardian with a soft spot for his family.
  • French Bulldog: America’s number-one dog, the small one that took the crown.
  • Golden Retriever: born to work on a Scottish estate, now America’s great family dog.
  • German Shepherd: the confident all-rounder, smart enough for any job you give it.
  • Labrador Retriever: America’s favorite for a reason, and the king before the Frenchie.

Coming as we publish: Alaskan Malamute, Chihuahua, Beagle, Poodle, and the rest of the library, each dropping into its alphabetical spot.
